    Q CELLS is expanding its premium range as the solar industry is booming. The latest Q CELLS module, Q.PEAK DUO-G6+, comes with a 25 year product and 25 year performance warranty and is available in solar market by May 2020. Qcell is the first company to give warranties of this length.

    The premium solar modules of Q.cells are the result of our industry-leading technical expertise. More than 400 scientists and engineers research, develop, and conduct tests in their four R&D centers located in Germany, Korea, Malaysia, and China. This accounts for the numerous world records for efficiency won by their solar modules.

    Q CELLS panels are specifically designed for Australia. The products are independently tested and verified by the rigorous and independent quality assurance program of the German certification institute, VDE. The testing ensures outstanding durability in strong wind, heavy snow loads, salt stress, aridity, high temperatures and humidity.  These tests include hail damage testing where they shoot balls of ice at the panels to simulate heavy hail conditions. Panels are tested for their resistance to harsh desert climates at the Desert Knowledge Australia Solar Centre (DKASC) in Alice Springs. Q cells is proud to announce that their panels survived the phenomenal pressures of a 1 in 500 year cyclone.

Q.Cells began producing modules based on Q. Antum technology in 2012.Q. ANTUM Technology is based on Passivated Emitter Rear Cell (PERC) technology. The rear surfaces of Q.antum solar cells are treated with special nano coating that functions like mirror. PERC allows for the passivation of the solar cell´s rear side. Rays of sunlight that would otherwise be wasted are reflected back through the cell to generate more power. Q.antum maximises the effectiveness of conventional crystalline solar cells and modules. It sets a new world record for crystalline solar cells by achieving 19.5% efficiency. They have the highest module output worldwide and delivers optimal performance even under a cloudy sky.

  • De Bortoli Wines NSW

Being concerned about the environmental issues De Bortoli , the sixth largest wine company in Australia, wanted an industrial grade PV solution with technologies that has high performance in Australian conditions. They collaborated with Q. Cells in powering the company, thus resulting in a huge reduction in electrical energy bills and carbon emissions.

  • Barossa Valley SA

Barossa Vintners utilises Sun not just for growing grapes for its famous wines, but for harnessing its energy to produce clean electricity as well. Together with Q. Cells they succeeded in reducing carbon emission by 22% and resulted in an annual savings of $26,000 in energy and maintenance cost.

  • NU Fruit VIC

NU Fruits is a fresh produce wholesaler supplying fresh fruits and vegetables across NSW, SA and VIC. Refrigeration consumed a significant amount of electricity. QCells’ array were installed resulting in an annual savings of $30,000

  • Melbourne Zoo VIC

Melbourne Zoo is the world’s first certified carbon neutral zoo. Q.Cells delivered 255 solar panels for the unit which provides 140MWh of electricity yearly. It achieved 98% of rated efficiency even in low light conditions.

  • University of Queensland

University of Queensland is a state-of-the-art education facility. Q.Cells installed their 100KW system on the 7 storeyed building, thus proving an advanced engineering challenge of height and limited space

  • Autonomous Energy has designed and installed 100 KW Q.PRO- G2 for Blacktown Workers Sports Club located in Western Sydney. System was designed taking into account of the varying pitch and orientation of each roof section. They won 2013 Clean Energy Council Award.
